This privacy notice for CRX APPLICATIONS (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we may collect, store, use, and share information when you use Milky Baby and related services.

SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS

Milky Baby lets caregivers track feed, sleep, diaper, health, growth, and pump records for children. You can use the app in an offline-only mode, in which case your data may remain on your device, or you can opt into cloud features such as backup, syncing, and family sharing.


When you opt into online features, we may process account information, child profiles, family membership data, and selected tracker records using Firebase or related cloud services so those features work across devices and authorized family members.


We may use Apple or Google to authenticate you when you choose to sign in. We do not sell private child records to unrelated third parties for their marketing purposes.


Shared family records remain part of the shared child context unless they are deleted from that shared context, even if one caregiver later loses access.


Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights that allow you to access, update, delete, or object to some of our processing.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us


We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register, authenticate, contact us, enable cloud features, or otherwise use Milky Baby.


The personal information we may collect includes:


  • Email address and authentication identifiers
  • Name, display name, or profile information provided by you or your sign-in provider
  • Unique account or user identifiers
  • Support messages and other content you send to us
  • Family membership or role information you configure in the app

If you use Milky Baby to track child-related information, we may also process child profiles and records that you enter, such as feed, sleep, diaper, health, growth, and pump entries, plus notes or measurements linked to those records.


Some of this data may be considered sensitive or health-adjacent depending on your jurisdiction. We process it only as needed to provide the features you use and as otherwise permitted by law.


Payment Data. We do not collect your payment instrument details. If payments or subscriptions are offered, payment processing is handled by Apple or Google through their respective stores. Their privacy notices are available here: Google Play and Apple App Store.


Information automatically collected


We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate our Services. This may include IP address, device and browser characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referrer URLs, usage logs, crash information, and analytics events.


This information helps us maintain security, analyze usage, troubleshoot problems, and improve the Services.


2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer Milky Baby, to communicate with you, to secure the Services, and to comply with law.


  • To create and manage accounts
  • To authenticate you with Apple or Google when you choose to sign in
  • To provide optional backup, sync, restore, and online support
  • To enable family sharing for child profiles you link to a family
  • To store and organize child-related tracker records
  • To provide support and respond to requests
  • To analyze usage, prevent fraud, and protect the Services
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

Offline-only data may remain local to your device and is not uploaded to Firebase unless you choose to enable cloud features.


3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.


  • Performance of a contract when we provide the app features you request, including sign-in, syncing, backup, and family sharing
  • Legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, and improving the Services
  • Consent where required, including for certain optional data processing or communications
  • Compliance with legal obligations

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share personal information only in limited situations and only with categories of recipients needed to provide the Services or comply with law.


  • Cloud and infrastructure providers, including Firebase and related Google Cloud services, when needed for authentication, database storage, backup, syncing, analytics, or app operations
  • Apple or Google where relevant to authentication, store operations, subscriptions, or platform compliance
  • Family members or caregivers that you explicitly authorize through the app's family-sharing functionality
  • Professional advisors, authorities, or counterparties where required by law, legal process, or business transfer

We do not share private child records with unrelated third parties for their direct marketing.


If a child profile is linked to a family, records associated with that child may be visible to the family members you authorize. You are responsible for the sharing decisions you make inside the app.


5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.


If you use Milky Baby offline only, your local data is controlled primarily from your device. If you enable cloud features, synced data may remain in our active systems until deleted by you, removed through account deletion, or no longer needed for the applicable purpose.


Where records belong to a shared child or family context, those records may remain available to the remaining authorized family members after one member leaves that shared context, unless the records are deleted from the shared context itself.


We may retain limited information for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or legal compliance.


6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.


You should also protect your device, keep credentials secure, and carefully manage who you authorize as a family member.


7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

Milky Baby is intended for adult caregivers, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly solicit accounts from children under 18.


Child-related records may be entered by parents, guardians, or other authorized caregivers for care-tracking purposes. If you believe a child has provided us personal information directly in violation of this notice, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to investigate and respond.


8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to processing of your personal information.


You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal and operational limits.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track feature. Because there is no consistent industry standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them.


10. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, access it, correct it, delete it, and request details about disclosure practices, subject to exceptions.


Categories of information we may collect include identifiers, customer records, internet or network activity, account information, commercial information if subscriptions are offered, and child-related care records that you choose to store in the Services.


We do not sell personal information or share private child records for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you want local offline-only records removed, you may need to delete them directly from your device or the app. If you want synced records removed from our systems, contact us or use the relevant in-app deletion options where available.


For shared family data, deletion requests may affect other authorized family members who have access to the same child profile. We may need to review the request in context before making changes.
